Rock N Roll Bride Feature! XO
If you’re a fan of the brilliant, pink haired creator of Rock N Roll Bride (like I AM!) you would know that it’s totally a honor to be featured on her site. All of the photography is amazing, the weddings are creative & colorful & edgy & rocking & heartwarming. So I was definitely pleased when I got an email back & learned she was interested in featuring me.
The wedding itself took place back in July, in Ojai California. Roxanne Carter was the bride & who, by the way is definitely one of my all time favorite online bloggers - save Gala Darling. I’ve been following her livejournal & site & flickr for years. It’s strange how things work out because, randomly, I found her on facebook only a few weeks before she announced that she was on the hunt for a wedding photographer. Normally I don’t photograph a lot of weddings but I knew hers would be amazing & that she would be open to a more creative route with the photography & she was. The wedding itself was insanely beautiful.
Meeting her was a little awe inspiring & totally a fan-girl moment. I’m always curious to see how people are in person vs the online entity I’ve known & become accustomed to. Roxanne was charming, kind & shy & totally welcoming & a pleasure to work with. The wedding was one of the most touching events I’ve ever been to & I admit I teared up while I was shooting it.
